Shoulder
Rotator cuff & shoulder pain
Pain lifting your arm, reaching behind you or sleeping on your side, common in lifters, swimmers and desk workers.
Typical visits:
8–12 visits over 6–10 weeks (typical range)

Common symptoms
✓ Pain lifting your arm overhead or out to the side
✓ Aching at night, especially lying on that side
✓ Weakness reaching or carrying
✓ A pinch at the front or top of the shoulder
How we treat it
We test strength and motion through the whole shoulder, including your shoulder blade and upper back. Then we load the rotator cuff gradually so it gets stronger without flaring up.
If your shoulder has had surgery, we coordinate with your surgeon’s protocol. Your plan may differ based on your evaluation.
General information, not a diagnosis
Every plan starts with an evaluation. Your clinician will explain what they find and adjust the approach to you.
Patient stories
From people with this condition
“They explained exactly why my shoulder hurt and gave me three exercises that actually fit my workday. I’m back to lifting without that pinch.”
