Template guide

Everything you need to make this template your clinic’s own: styles, CMS, booking, forms, images and SEO. This page is hidden from search engines.

Start here

This template is built for physical therapy, sports rehab and chiropractic clinics with one to three locations. Everything you see is sample content for a fictional clinic. Work through these steps before you publish.

1

Business details: update the clinic name, phone and email in the Logo, Navigation, Footer and Mobile Action Bar components (Assets → Components → Core and Layout).

2

CMS content: replace the sample Locations, Clinicians, Insurance Plans and Packages first. They appear on the most pages.

3

Booking: paste your booking embed code or link on /book (see Booking embed below).

4

Forms: connect a destination for the /book request form and the Contact form.

5

Images: replace every image labeled “Replace:” using the image specs below.

6

Placeholders: search the project for “sample” and “placeholder” and replace each one with your own approved wording, numbers and reviews.

7

SEO: update the site title, description, social image and favicon in Site Settings, then check each page’s settings.

Colors, fonts and spacing

Every color and text size comes from a shared style. Change a style once in Assets and every page updates.

Keep text readable: white text works on Brand/Primary and Surface/Inverse. Don’t use Accent (signal orange) for text on white. It’s meant for small marks, dots and highlights.

Fonts

Headings use Sofia Sans Extra Condensed (Display, H1 and H2 are uppercase at weight 800). Body and interface text use Sofia Sans. To change fonts, edit the text styles in Assets → Text Styles. Each style has three sizes: desktop (1200px and up), tablet (810px and up) and phone.

Spacing and corners

Spacing scale: 4, 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 48, 64, 96 and 128px. Sections use 112px of vertical padding on desktop, 88px on tablet and 64px on phone, with content held to 1280px. Corner radius: 4px badges, 6px buttons and inputs, 10px tiles, 12px cards, 16px bands and fully rounded chips.

Motion

Sections rise gently into view and cards lift on hover. Reduced motion is on in Site Settings, so visitors who ask their device for less motion get calmer pages.

CMS collections

Edit content in the CMS panel. Lists, filters and detail pages update automatically. Each collection ships with 4–8 sample items so you can see every layout filled.

Conditions

Body area powers the filter on /conditions and the body-area chips on Home. Recommended treatments links each condition to its treatments. Framer doesn’t sync references both ways, so when you add a treatment here, also add the condition to that treatment’s Related conditions. Write Typical visits as a range, never a promise. Featured conditions appear on Home.

Treatments

Icon uses the Lucide icon set. Featured treatments (up to four) appear in “How we help” on Home. Related conditions lists the conditions a treatment can help. The clinicians who offer it are found automatically through each clinician’s Specialties.

Clinicians

Specialties (treatments) and Locations power “Clinicians who offer this” on treatment pages and “Clinicians at this location” on location pages. Booking URL can be a clinician-specific booking link or /book.

Locations

Phone link uses the tel: format, for example tel:+13035550142. Map link can be any Google Maps or Apple Maps URL and opens in a new tab. Booking URL can point to a location-specific booking page or /book.

Insurance Plans

The In-network toggle sorts plans into the in-network and out-of-network lists. Only add insurer logos you have permission to use; otherwise keep the neutral logo slot. Keep each note accurate and current.

Packages

Turn on Highlighted for one package to show the “Most popular” card. Use Price note for details such as “per visit” or “HSA/FSA eligible” where that applies.

Resources

Type and Body area power both filters on /resources. Turn on Disclaimer to show “Consult your clinician before starting exercises” on that resource. Video resources also show the video slot.

Reviews

Publish only real reviews you have written permission to share, and follow the FTC’s endorsement guidance and your licensing board’s advertising rules. Change Source label from “Sample review” to where the review came from.

Blog Posts

Category powers the topic filter on /blog. Author links each post to a clinician’s page. Date sorts the blog, newest first.

Tips

In rich-text fields, write lists as short lines that start with “✓ ”, because Framer’s bullet lists can render in a fallback font. Collection lists are paginated: choose Load more or infinite scroll in each list’s Pagination setting.

Booking embed

The booking block on /book is a component called Booking / Embed Slot. It ships in its Placeholder variant so your template preview looks finished.

1

Open /book and select the booking block.

2

In the right panel, set Variant to Embed code (for HTML or script code) or Booking link (for a booking page URL).

3

Paste your code into Embed code, or your URL into Booking link.

4

Preview the page. If your widget needs more room, raise the block’s height on each breakpoint (default 660px on desktop, 480px on tablet and phone).

Where to find your code

Jane App: look for the online booking link or embed option in your Jane online booking settings.

WebPT: if your plan includes online scheduling, copy the scheduling page link or widget code from its settings.

ChiroTouch-style systems: many chiropractic practice systems offer a patient booking page. Paste its URL into Booking link.

Calendly: paste your event link into Booking link, or copy the inline embed code from Share → Add to website into Embed code.

No integration is connected

This template doesn’t include or claim an official integration with any scheduling vendor. Menu names change, so check your vendor’s help docs. Script-based widgets may only appear in Preview or on the published site.

Keep the “Call to book” button as a fallback. If your software supports deep links, use each clinician’s and location’s Booking URL field.

Forms and HIPAA

HIPAA note

Don’t collect detailed medical history in this form; use your HIPAA-compliant intake system.

The site has two forms: the request form on /book and the Contact form (the Form / Contact component on /contact). Both collect only contact and scheduling details. Keep it that way.

1

Select the form: on /book it’s the Request form layer; for /contact, open the Form / Contact component.

2

In the form’s settings in the right panel, choose where submissions go: email, a webhook or Google Sheets. Free sites can send to one email address.

3

Submit a test from Preview and confirm it arrives.

Edit fields

Change the options in Preferred location and “What brings you in?” in each select’s settings so they match your clinics and the conditions you treat. Replace the consent checkbox wording with your approved language.

Intake forms

On /first-visit, replace the Intake forms button link with your secure intake or patient-portal URL.

Image specs

Every placeholder image is labeled “Replace: slot · ratio”. Use JPG or WebP files under about 300 KB, and write alt text in each CMS image field or in the image settings.

The body-area figure and motion-arc line art are vector layers. Recolor them by changing their stroke colors.

Videos

Video resources show a video slot that stays hidden for other types. To add a video, open the resource in the CMS and insert a YouTube component or video block in its Body. You can also replace the Video Slot block on the Resource page template with Framer’s YouTube component.

Prefer a field? Add a Link field called Video URL to Resources and connect it to a YouTube component placed in the slot.

Placeholders and compliance

These blocks are labeled in the template. Replace them before you publish. None of them are legal or medical advice.

✓ Health disclaimer in the footer

✓ Consent checkbox wording on both forms

✓ Superbill note on Insurance & Pricing

✓ Sample metrics on Home and Reviews: publish only figures you can document

✓ Sample reviews, prices and insurance plans

✓ Privacy Policy and Terms (sample text)

✓ Exercise disclaimer on resources: keep it and adjust the wording

SEO and publishing

Each page has its own title and description in its page settings. CMS pages build theirs from fields, for example “{{Name}} Treatment in Denver | Kinetic Ridge”. Replace Denver and the clinic name with yours.

This Template Guide is set to noindex. Before launch, delete it or remove its footer link.

Pages share the Main layout template (navigation, footer and the phone action bar). Page canvases have a fixed height in the editor, but live pages grow with their content. A custom 404 page is included.
