Running injuries & shin splints
Shin, calf or Achilles pain that shows up as mileage climbs, or keeps coming back each training cycle.
Typical visits:
4–8 visits over 6–8 weeks (typical range)

Common symptoms
✓ Aching along the inside of the shin
✓ Calf or Achilles pain during or after runs
✓ Pain that appears at a predictable point in a run
✓ Injuries that return every time mileage rises
How we treat it
We look at your training history as closely as your body. Most running injuries come from load rising faster than tissues can adapt.
You get a modified training plan, a strength routine and, when useful, a gait analysis. Your plan may differ based on your evaluation.
General information, not a diagnosis
Every plan starts with an evaluation. Your clinician will explain what they find and adjust the approach to you.

Patient stories
From people with this condition
“The gait analysis was eye-opening. Two small changes and a strength routine, and my shins have been quiet for a whole training cycle.”
